this. Storm total said 27" from Friday - Sunday morning, I'd say it skied more like 36"+ in the woods. I was balls deep in pow for the second half the day Saturday and all day Sunday. best pow skiing I've had in a long time, truly bottomless in some spots.

First time caller, long time listener wondering if there's any news as to how long Black Mountain of Maine is planning on running chairs this year. Yes, I looked at the website and no, it does not appear to be posted there I'll hang up and wait for your answer.

Hey ECRC. They just canceled the Level 1 PSIA (ski instructor) this coming weekend at Cannon that my teen was scheduled to take due to low enrollment.
Does anyone here know of a Level 1 the weekend of March 26? Within a few hours of Cannon.
    Thanks.

Epic run! Had a stellar week in the Chic Chocs last week and tried to sneak one more in driving from Quebec City back to Boston. Stopped by Big Jay at 1:30. All the lots packed. GF and I were fried from the week and most of the open spots were tracked but the 10-15 turns I had down were legit waist deep, deepest snow I've skied in many many years. Probably should have skipped the QC visit and straightlined for VT but as it is!

May get up a TR at some point but grad school is swallowing my free time these days.

the Jay backcountry was firing on Sunday. Agreed on deepest we've seen in a long time. really glad we got a good little run in there while we could, I feel like this past weekend kinda saved the season, upcoming forecast looks ugly again.

Maneuverable in the trees and bumps and they truck on groomers. Even went bell to bell without blowing up my legs so that’s a bonus!
