With a nod to singlecross there's always the possibility of naming the new thread "soup is only a remedy, not a cure."

Top half of the Locke triple, is that typically what they do for opening day? Feel like I have never seen that lift even run before

Yup. It's a logistical nightmare with a real crowd, as the download capacity is substantially less than 100% and the chair can't run at full speed due to the foot traffic loading and unloading. And full speed isn't exactly breathtaking, either (I think it's in the neighborhood of a 15-minute ride). So opening top to bottom is preferred, but they can usually get the top open a little quicker.

Once we're into solid top to bottom conditions, they drop the ramp at the midstation and it stays down until next year. I think leaving it up requires staffing it, which means you can't use it to lap T2 (which would be much appreciated by teams training there).

Looking like I'll be up there in the morning, hoping the RFID card I found is actually the one from last year and was reactivated as promised.

Right on. I knew he was FL bound, just surprised he ditched here completely. Always seemed like a good dude.
