Pretty good score for the Pacific Group. They had an odd assortment of resorts for sure. I'd imagine this could bump up the Ragged season pass prices a bit. Maybe they will keep a cheaper "Ragged only " option.

Does this mean Jay is off the Indy Pass for next year?

This group would be OK with me as I have 0 [zero] desire for Alterra to buy Jay, there are already more Klowns skiing here than we need without adding another slice of the eastern pie. The statement that Jay is the most redeemed mountain on the Indy pass was surprising.

    Catoptimism!

Why not? Due to lack of nearby lunch choices and many rooms under the Jay umbrella I expect they do very well with Indy. How many skiers do you think Head up for their two days, with an overnight stay somewhere, during a storm cycle?

I wasn't aware you could by a PRG pass. I thought the Ragged Pass was good only for Ragged. You know better than me tho...

I did read that Jay has already committed to Indy for 22-23. I only got 1 day there last year but will definitely shoot for 2 this year. Not a bad drive from Londonderry (VT).

I bet it’s within 10 minutes difference between Londonderry VT or NH to get to Jay.

Damn, I shoulda bought that Ragged midweek pass. Did notice that Ragged offers 50% off for veterans midweek. Hoping Jay will do the same if I decide I want to go more than 2X.

Who better to ask about a Mountain scene than a bunch of skiers? Could this be a view of Twin Mountain in Franconia Notch (NH)? Please understand that the artists of the 1840s took some license and that the scene may be idealized…

Or perhaps an idealized view of Big George with the Saco River in the foreground?

Nah, back then the glaciers were still thick, that's how The Whites got their name. Or was it that white people lived there? Anyway, who is the painter?

Unsigned but looks a lot like the work of William H Titcomb, a known White Mountain School painter.
