WTB Twin Tips, 165-175, must have cool graphics

Hey all! My 14yo son has requested twin tips and I’m trying to accommodate. He’s 5’6” but growing about a foot a month. Probably around 130lbs. Advanced intermediate.

These will have a spot under the tree (though he’s mostly in the know) so they have to be in decent-ish cosmetic shape. New or used, I expect these will be in use for a season or so before he needs something bigger (obviously a 175 could see indefinite use, but might be a bit unwieldy for him at present).

The cool graphics are for me, he didn’t request that part. Skulls or epic scenes of the damned or a fucking liger or something. While he’d certainly appreciate them, I’d probably be self conscious gifting him something with boobs on the top sheet.

Let me know what you’ve got!

I've got a set of line chronics from last season with some STH13s on then. Only a few days on them and in great shape. These are the 2021 model.

I have some 2010 K2 Extremes with color-matched Marker Griffon Schizo bindings. Size 169, very good condition. Do some googling and message me if youre interested, I'll send you some pictures. Joel.

I feel like he might be a little overmatched by those. Not that 175cm is some bright line, but going to the top of the range with a ski that is on the stiffer side feels like it could be out of the comfortable range for the kid. Any thoughts there?

I have a pair of Atomic Access 171 mounted with Dynafit ST bindings. Graphics are not cool.

There are several Volant Machete McT (and one abused set of the last model non-stainless 69s) sets for sale that I've found on FB Marketplace in that size range. Ski the steel!

    Sorry,
Saving a minty set of pocket rockets for the kid next year.
