    FS - 2020 Blizzard Rustler 11 - 180-cm

    For Sale - 2020 Blizzard Rustler 11 - 180-cm
Mounted once on the line for Look Pivot for ~287-mm BSL (not included).
Was told they have been skied 12-15 days. Very good condition all around. Not edge damage. One noticeable base repair (see photo) that the previous owner claims is not a core shot. Would say 9/10 condition. Bought these for Bandit Jr but decided they will be too short and have since found some 188’s.

$325 + shipping. Prefer PayPal/Venmo f/f or you pay fees

Preference given to local sale (North Seattle/South Snohomish County) or establish Mags.

Thanks all...also looking for the 188s. I've got the shorter/fatter for the EC covered with 182 Ranger 108s. Thinking the 188s would be mo better for my month in ID/WY/MT. Free bump and GLWS Bandito.

Everybody's gotta have parkas. I'm talking custom parkas. Two words: "client development." They see all of you out there cutting the powder in your matching Schweikart & Cokely parkas, you'll make an impression. You will thank me later.

MNIAW, if you come through CO on your way west, you are more than welcome to borrow my 188 R11s. I think they have the attack demo bindings on them that I bought from you.

    Another free bump

I almost want to buy these just to see how they compare to my puke green 188 R11s. This is motivated by the "What's Blizzard Up To" thread. and the [what I consider} BS shape ski info. Also, I wonder whether the Sheeva 11 skis more like the green R11 or the new "and improved" orange R11?

From what I could find the Sheeva has a lighter core and replaces the Titanal layer with carbon so not exactly the same.

At my age, this might actually be an advantage.

Sorry for the thread drift Bandit Man but another free bump.

Blister says it's the same construction. Maybe ask the Blizzard guy on here?

    FS - 2020 Blizzard Rustler 11 - 180-cm

    This from Ski Canada Magazine:

They’re built much like the unisex Rustlers, but with a lighter-weight wood core sandwiched between sheets of carbon. A Titanal topsheet is replaced at the tip and tail with a carbon frame. The Titanal transfers power from edge-to-edge. The carbon sheets improve stability throughout the length of the ski without adding torsional rigidity, helping keep the tip and tail soft for easy turn initiation and exit. The result: a big-mountain tool for the less-demanding skier

Upon re-reading that it seems like the Titanal is only replaced in the tips and tails.

There is no titanal in the tips or tails in the R11. It's carbon in the unisex/men's model, too.

Right on. Just found this in the Blister review:

This season, Blizzard introduced the Sheeva 11, which is their widest women-specific ski (and it returns unchanged for 18/19). The Sheeva 11 shares the same shape, rocker profile, and construction as the men’s Blizzard Rustler 11, but comes in shorter lengths and with different topsheets.

Good luck with the sale. I think that these would make an outstanding tree and mogul ski
