Have you considered the benefits of fractional island ownership?

Looks beautiful Harry. How many hours from Brainerd? I'd like to check it out next summer.

I’m thinking an “I’ve islanded with Harry” shirt would round out my wardrobe. Congrats! I hope to visit sometime.

I know my wife is looking to purchase another 1/674th interest in a property that we will infrequently visit while spending exorbitant maintenance fees on each year. Can you help me build out my portfolio further, Harry? We’d be that much closer to our dream of owning 1/337th of something.

    The two main ones are:

    1) no building within 75 feet of the lake.
    2) no clearing vegetation within 35 feet of the lake.

Bring your chainsaw. Lots of brush and downed timber that needs to be cleared.

156 miles from your Dad’s next door neighbor to here. 2-lane roads and small towns with 25 mph, so it takes 3.5 hours each way. Full disclosure, I am a putt-putt driver as witnessed by Djongo & seano732. I bet Djongo could do it in 2.5 hours.

Saw a pair of otters, twice. But have not figured out where they are living.

Lots of birds. Bald eagles have a nest somewhere nearby. Great blue heron is a frequent visitor.

No sign of deer or bear, although lots of both in the area. I setup a game camera, so far the only thing that triggered it is my own coming and going.

Have fun with it Harry, it looks awesome.

Harry, are you able to get power and water to the island I assume or just power and well/septic?

There’s something about an island that’s inherently appealing. Been following this since the first mention Harry, stoked for ya and looking fwd to addl pics.

Have you thought of relocating wolves to the island?

Bmills. It's an island. It's surrounded by water.

    Harry,
Can this lake accommodate seaplanes? I'm thinking the 3.5 hr drive at 30mph might be prohibitive for me.

Absolutely it is seaplane accessible. My very first airplane ride of my life (age 7 or 8) was a seaplane on this lake.
