I'm disappointed by my lunch choices today
First BMills ends up with bad soup. I then give him some flack about his choice of Whole Foods while I'm at my Whole Foods getting lunch. I end up with nachos from the hot bar. My lunch, in retrospec after consumption:
- not that tasty
- not that healthy
- not easy to eat
- not worth the per pound price
Frankly, disappointing all around. Anybody else having lunch issues?

We should start a Whole Foods letter writing campaign.
I still call it The Jake.

I just put some elk chorizo in a bowl, with cheese, salsa, sour cream and two over easy eggs. Was pretty good...easy to eat, but not real healthy. From my fridge, so the price was right.

I had toast with huckleberry jam for breakfast *and* lunch. The bread was homemade. Easy, tasty, *and* the price was right.
Today, I am winning the food game.

Bahn Mi from Juno's in Sacramento. Lunch doesn't get any better. I'm eating it as we speak.

I’m pleasantly surprised how well the freezer frozen Italian sub pork worked with freezer miso ramen base. Made up a warm filling bowl of ramen, toss in some veg, 7/10, would have again.

I haven't been to a Whole Foods deli since it was bought out by Bezo's and holy shit they got rid of 2/3 of what they carried and what they still have is subpar. The smoked mozzarella salad doesn't have hardly any mozz in it, the chicken scallopini is done half ass. Fuck Bezo's for killing the best part of WF.

That sub looks good but I expected gabagool, provolone, and vinegar peppers in the garden state.

Got hung up at work so didn't make it home at lunch.
Settled for convenience store pizza. Not good, and did not help the stress of my 3hr afternoon meeting.

Yeah, me too. Didn't really see anything in the fridge I wanted, so ate black beans, cotija, and rice with some Tajin sauce. Ho hum.
