Cool! We'll be driving later today, and skiing through Tuesday too, it'll be fun to meet and have a beer.

Maybe I am missing something here, but I doesn't seem cold enough for a good corn cycle.

I was just up on Tioga today (above), and doing Mammoth tomorrow (Sunday). I’d be up for some runs and/or a beer. Bright green Dalbello boots & I’ll look something like this (unless it’s too hot for the windbreaker)…

Top of Gaylor skied great today. But you want to start super early. Lots of skiers at the pass.

We're here too. Come say hi if you see us. We'll have a quick beer at the Mill parking lot after skiing but today we're leaving soon because it's family call day. We're leaving on Tuesday afternoon.

The snow set up Saturday night, but it wasn't a hard freeze. More like the top layer froze.

Snow was soft enough that the sun cups weren't an issue. Not bad for this time of year.

Drove up Sunday morning in time for a few laps before skiing Monday and Tuesday.

It ended up being really fun, as others have said. Monday I started with a few groomers, then kept lapping Sign Line on Climax. It was slushy and fun, and not too grabby, although a bit sticky by the afternoon. I expected it to be stickier, and was pleasantly surprised. I skied from 930 to 130.

Tuesday I got to the mountain around 9 am. I started with a couple of groomers, then headed to the top. The Cornice groomer was slushy and fun. After a couple of those I tested Sign Line, which had softened up other than the apron below. I ended up heading over the the skier's right area of Climax, under the center of the Top of the World cliffs, and found beautiful slush. It was some of the better spring slush I have seen this year, soft and rippable but not grabby. I ended up doing 5 more laps there, before doing a dropout lap and then finishing with one more lap in that same Climax zone.

Dropout was fun too. I skied the skier's left area, pretty much the ridge right under the chair. Once you got below the slush bumps the face was really fun if you stayed skier's left.

Fofo, great to finally meet you!

ESS, sorry we didn't get to meet up. I think I sent you a PM, but I'm not all that good with TGR on my phone. I'm actually surprised the post I sent from the mountain on Monday went through. Good work getting into the noids. I gave some thought to traversing in, but decided against it.

Overall the best turns I got were on skier's right Climax on Tuesday.

Here is a video of a Sign Line lap on Monday, then Dropout and Climax from Tuesday.

Mikey, I hope that you're feeling better and that it wasn't covid.

ESS, no worries, we may be back or Memorial Day too, and we'll have more beer in the cooler. If your avatar/thumbnail is a picture of you, I may have seen you at the Mill (blue and white clothes I think), but I thought it would be a little bit weird to go to a random guy an be like "Hey, are you Eastern Sierra Skier?""Um, yeah, I guess".

LDD, yeah, it was good to finally meet! Cool video, by the way. I could feel my legs getting tired just by watching it.

And someone was having fun (and sweating like crazy, I imagine):
