Revel and Guerrilla Gravity Demo Bike Sale Thread

I'll keep everything in this one thread, each bike will get it's own post. If the bike is still listed, then it's still available.

I've had some iffy experiences with shipping bikes over the last few years, so I prefer local pickup in Denver/Boulder if possible. If I'm willing to ship a bike, I'll mention it specifically in the listing.

Revel Rail Size Large X01 Build: $5400

This bike is in excellent shape with nothing on the frame itself. There are a few decent scratches on the lower left leg of the Lyrik Ultimate, but they're all on the decal: the lowers and the stanchions are perfect.

    Revel Rail, Medium Frame
    RS Lyrik Ultimate, 170mm
RS Super Deluxe Ultimate, 165mm travel
Industry Nine Enduro 305 wheels w/ 1-1 hubs
SRAM X01 drivetrain w/ Truvativ Stylo carbon cranks, 170mm
    SRAM Code RSC brakes
Crank Brothers Highline 7 dropper post, 150mm
WTB Vigilante 2.5" front, DHRII 2.4 EXO+ rear
    Truvativ Descendant 50mm stem
    ENVE M7 Handlebar, 800mm
    WTB Silverado saddle
    Ergon GA1 grips

Nope, just not available yet... I've got one more trip to run this weekend and need the bikes that haven't already sold yet.

I should have a medium and large Trail Pistol (setup as Pistolas, 150/130), a large Smash, and a medium Gnarvana.

Although I'm hoping (wishful thinking) the build you have on it is slightly more....budget.

Looking for a large Trail Pistol but I was hoping for the 120mm. What does the 150/130 include? Isn't that basically a Smash? Either way, intrigued.

It's literally just changing the stroke of the shock (by I think 5mm) and fork by 20mm. The frame itself is the same. Trail Pistol stays are shorter than the Smash, and BB is lower.

All the GG's are lower-level builds, and thus lower prices too. I'll update with exact details later, but they're basically:

MRP Ribbon Air fork w/ Chocolux (150mm for Trail Pistols, 160mm for Gnarvanas)
CC Inline Air (TP) or Kitsuma Air (Gnarvana) shock
    SLX drivetrain
    SLX 4-piston brakes w 203/180mm rotors
Industry Nine Enduro 305 wheels w/ Hydra hubs
    Bikeyoke Revive 160mm droppers

Yeah, I'm looking for something a little different than that build but any other time it would be perfect. Good luck with the sale.

Damn that Pistola build sounds right up my alley. I don’t need XT+ bling on my bikes

Revel and Guerrilla Gravity Demo Bike Sale Thread

Somebody school me on the Pistola. I’m on an overshocked 27.5 Giant Trance (147/150) right now and do everything from mild-ish jump trails, backcountry riding Cascades, to 50+ mile races and want a single bike for them all. Seems like most 29ers are falling into the short travel XC or the 150/160 camp (GG Smash, Sentinel, etc) which I feel like may be too much travel for my needs and make moderate trails feel too easy.

I’m wondering how the collective feels about the Pistola at 130/150 will handle such a variety of duties and will it have enough rear travel for me to go 6’huck to flats and some mild bike park days when I weigh 190.

I think the Pistola is a good all mountain bike. Mine had a 140mm Pike on the front. I would have preferred a 150mm Lyrik. Pike's aren't my favorite fork.

The Pistola is a solid climber. I rarely used the climb switch on mine. Plus these bikes are a hoot going downhill. The frame on mine was over built aka heavy, so it wasn't a featherweight but it was a good all rounder. I ended up buying the Gnarvana seat stay kit for it. Now it's my long travel sled and I definitely use the climb switch while I'm spinning up the hill on it these days.

Having ridden your bike in both configurations, I am firmly in the camp of the pistola version not having enough travel for the weight of the bike.

If I'm going to sweat, grunt, bitch, and moan on the climb, that fuckin bike better be ready to slay everything on the down.

In the gnarvana configuration I put together for you, that thing kicks ass. Like, one can't find it's limit of kicking ass. That makes the heavy frame worth the cost of admission. I tried to find the edge. Couldn't get fast enough to come close.

    That's my humble beater opinion.

One thing I will say... is that with the new all-carbon TP frames, you can definitely get the build to be pretty light for a 130/120 or 140/130 trail bike. Not that the builds I'm selling above are light, but it's possible if you wanted to. For instance, my own TP is 130/120 with X01/Pike/DPS Factory and Trail 270 wheels with lighter tires and it weighs 27.5 lbs w/o pedals. But I also have a Gnarvana, and I firmly agree with both of you guys above.
