Sunday wasn't as shitty as I expected based on how hard it was pouring on the drive up. Blackcomb was definitely less miserable than Whistler, especially in terms of visibility. No crowds was a bonus too.

That said, I wasn't in hurry to come back for a second day

It was pretty strange to be there on a weekend day and ski onto the lift every time. I was lapping Crystal in the morning and there were times where I'd ski down and there would literally not be anyone else there other than the liftie.

Made the mistake of venturing off piste into Whistler bowl. Figured by noon it might have softened up. I pretty much side slipped right down to highway 86. Was the first time I’ve felt chatter in my testicles while riding. I literally had to hold my balls on the way down. Groomers were super fun though

Made a side trip up from baker and got to ski last Friday and Saturday at your fine resort. Friday was fantastic. Kid skied the cirque for the first time and I had first tracks down the coffin. Never been in there. Good times. Saturday at Blackcomb was good in morning but got worse.

I think that's right. You can see the Inukshuk up on Harmony Ridge in the background.

75cm in 24 hours? That's an insane amount of snow.

Shoveled 40cms off the deck and piled them on top of the budding crocuses. Go to sleep already!

Sometimes you score, sometimes you don't. At least you had fun.

Let's hear some reports guys. Temps look good, winds calming down a bit and doesn't seem like sun has come out to bake anything yet either. Hoping for Whistler alpine tomorrow!

Temps are good. Some morning sun. Mid mountain snow conditions far better than expected first thing. Garbo liftline was a riot, but snow becoming much more dense now. Alpine doesn't suck. As long as you like face shots.

Deepest April day in 15yrs that I can recall. Temps stayed solid. Mid mountain you definitely wanted to be on steep stuff. Staircase was a joke (in a good way), bottomless CBC was amazing, Spankies was great, as expected. Peak will be awesome tomorrow.

40 cm sounds about right. Line for the Blackcomb gondi started at Lululemon. Two lines of about 60 people each going up Spanky's. Worth it.

Life could be worse man! This must be the biggest system since Jan 8 or whenever it was.
