Snow to valley bottom? How were the crowds? What day is it tomorrow? I should probably go skiing regardless.

Thx clownshoe! Staffing seems to be an issue everywhere these days. Grouse took a couple hrs to open their measley amount of decent terrain this morning and was told by patrol short staff was the cause

Yeah thanks CS. I’m guessing the damage into harmony off the tbars was heavy. Hopefully we get a little reset tonight. I’ll keep on eye on peak, the tree shots should be deep AF.

In other news, the spankies dirty line was on point today. I was about 20th in line but was quickly demoted to 50th once the sign was flipped.

Peak cracks! Good for those there. I tripled down on blackcomb. Spankies open by 10. Full reset conditions. Pretty much as deep as yesterday!

Is it still nuts there or have the crowds thinned out a lot?

I was just finishing up for the day by the time peak opened, but I thought crowds were pretty tame today. Tons of parking, and I think the longest I waited was 10-15 mins right when 7th heaven opened. Lots of retards on the drive up in the snow.

what a great day. whis alpine didn't open till midday but worth the wait. late opening and zero vis seemed to keep the peak lines fairly short. wind made it not feel like 80cm since it last opened but still felt plenty deep

Yeah maybe. I’ve been ‘guilty’ of taking the dirty line but I had my gf with me this time and she’s ethically immaculate.

I’m not sure where I stand on it but it’s frustrating taking the clean line because all those folks seem to wallow and fuk around. Whereas the dirty line crowd giver up the boot pack.

Dirty line went today too but pretty chill so not worth the bad karma.

Pretty good in sheltered areas but open bowls etc had some wind skin. Lots of wind today. Slackcountry looks hammered.

Lapped lower insanity the entire morning walking onto creekside gondy. So good. Better than the peak laps in the afternoon
