    Let’s Talk About Greenville SC

The older I get, the less I like cold weather. My folks live within driving distance of Greenville, down in Naples. I’d like to be closer to them as they grow old. Skiing doesn’t mean as much as cycling does to me at this point in my life. The whole process of getting in the car and driving to the hill has grown old, yada. I’ll fly out west for a couple of weeks a year and be good with it. My wife works out of the house, so no worries there. She has a sister in Asheville. I’m a lifelong New Englander, am I gonna hate the redness?
I know the road scene is popping down there, how’s the gravel and MTB?
    Airport access, food etc…

You'll be about 3 hours away from 5400 feet elevation NC skiing. A couple places around 1K of vert but not a lot of steep terrain but some shorter sections that can be fun, especially when icy. No powder days though unless you get really lucky. They pack it all down while it's still falling overnight most of the time..

If you love skiing you can make it work. If you love GNAR and surfing powder not so much south of New England..

I did a weekend in Greenville right before the pandemic and it is quickly turning into Asheville-south. Great little town with a good food, outdoors and arts that is not such a secret anymore. Excellent camping, hiking, paddling, fishing with the AT, GSMNP and several National Forests all nearby. Lake Hartwell and Lake Keowee very close too. Don't bike but if the high-dollar bikes I saw on racks and in beds of trucks around there are any indication, the place has more than enough riding going on.

I’d tell you to take a lap but it sounds like you are too old and feeble, best stick to bullwheel races with Benny profane, flake.

Adults are talking here, run along now. I’m a way better skier than you, like way better. Like as much you’d want to, you can’t even cup my balls on a ski hill.

I didn't know road biking could have a scene. You learn something new every day.
I know two chicks from there, it seems like a great place for MLM drones and divorcees.

Um, you live in NH. Alabama of New England. I don't think you'll notice the red.

It's the shoulder season over in ECRC. It's like fishing at noon in there right now.

Yup. and Bmills comments pretty spot-on. Quickly becoming a very hip little downtown, but you better fuckin like College Football and boilt penuts. then again, you could probly skip the college football and boilt peanuts. Cipher your accent alone will be enough to get you ass-raped in the first week.
