It took me about 30 seconds to find that information.
The first link I found made my point better but I don't know the source so I didn't quote it.Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season

I've just thought of the perfect solution.
Instead of spiking drugs with fentanyl (a very real problem) let's start spiking it with covid vaccine.
People will unwillingly rail their way to health for the good of society.
I'd definitely take a ketamine/cocaine/covid booster any time.Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season

For some reason, everytime I get jabbed I have a really nice trippy experience.
The COSun is doing a nice 3 part article that I feel is important. If you have kids, or like to play, please go on amazon and order some test strips.

I'll bet you'll find if you care to dig into the data that most of those 400,000 deaths occurred before the U.S. reached a level of 50% vaccinated. Death rates at the start of 2021 were about twice as high as they got at the peak of delta in September.
edit: per data from here: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ the US was at 368,017 deaths on 12/31/20. The White House touted that we reached 50% fully vaccinated on 5/25 (https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/25/polit...vid/index.html) and the total death count was 609,710 on that date. The current total as of 10/31 was 769,450, thus there were 241,693 deaths this year prior to reaching that 50% threshold and 159,740 after. Conveniently the 50% vaxxed mark was reached just about halfway through the ten month period. Sure seems like deaths have decreased to me (to the tune of 34% to be specific).
This isn't exactly advanced math. If you're going to make a claim like this you should probably make sure that it at least stands up to basic scrutiny.Last edited by The AD; 11-15-2021 at 11:23 PM.

More funner fact. Austria has much better skiing than Maine.
Picturing Benny skiing with his vax pass around his neck slapping him in the face brings a smile to my face.

It would have been even worse had the vaccinations not have happened. Imagine that.
USA sucks anyhow so who cares. Look at other places nearby (you won't but I'll spoon-feed you a link anyway). https://russell-pollari.github.io/on...9/vaccinations

Epic resorts u can do everything except buy from cafeteria. That’s where the water thing came in. I wonder if you buy 4 hot chocolates at once or just one at a time. Don’t want to be sneaking a hot chocolate to the unvaxxed.
The whole thing cracks me up. (Not talking other countries mandates) . Having rules that make no sense. Such as last year on midweek day, nobody in line. My kids drinking a water. Lifty says no drinks on lift. But it’s just my family riding together. Or wearing a mask for 20 feet to walk to your table. Then take it off for an hour while you eat. Then put it back on for 20 feet as you walk out. Strange times

The no drinks on lift thing sounds like a good rule, after I've seen enough slobs just toss empty cans and bottles on the way up.

Sure does. Same way seeing a gaper attach their day ticket to their main jacket zipper (zipped to the top) on a shitty snow/weather day HAVING THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES! brings a smile to my face, and reignites the stoke. People doing goofy shit but having a great time (which benny will no doubt, im super jealous) helps put things back into perspective and im thankful for that.
We are all lucky that, in general, our chosen hobbies and social events revolve around outdoor activities which are far safer than the average sedentary americans hobbies and activities. I mean, think about the people living in AZ or TX... they literally cannot live without AC for half the year and so are forced to do everything inside.

Austria goes full lockdown.
Austria imposes nationwide lockdown and vaccine mandate amid coronavirus surge
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...814_story.html
BERLIN — Austria on Friday became the first country in Europe to say it would mandate that its whole population be vaccinated against coronavirus as it reimposed a nationwide lockdown to battle a surge in cases.
In a news conference in Vienna, Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said that everyone would be required to be vaccinated from coronavirus as of February. The new lockdown will begin Monday.
Schallenberg said that introducing the new measures was not an “easy decision” but it was based on infection levels and “to protect all of us.” He said that the restrictions were an “enormous” thing to ask of the vaccinated population, but that too many people had “showed a lack of solidarity.”
[Specter of new restrictions rises in Europe with coronavirus cases spiking once again]
Earlier this week the country had introduced a lockdown just for the unvaccinated, which meant that those who hadn’t had a jab were banned from leaving home except for essential reasons such as grocery shopping or visiting the doctor. Those measures will now be extended to everyone, while nonessential businesses will be forced to close, including Austria’s famed Christmas markets.
