    This seems pretty close.

you probably don't get it cuz you are generaly considered to be one of if not thee dumbest dumb-ass on TGR

    Lol, why?

You're saying if you were the armorer, and an actor cleared a gun you handed them, following the basic rules of safe firearms handling, your pride or ego or something would be so hurt you'd have to quit?

Yea, you sure schooled me with all those smarts you got going on.

Clearing a gun when it's handed to you is a basic rule of safe firearms handling. No one who isn't a complete crazy person is ever going to have any problem with that. All you've proved is you're nuts.

Ol clint isn't making movies any more, but here's the guy that makes john wick flicks, saying there is no reason to have a functional firearm on a movie set.

There absolutely is a correlation for people with disdain for firearms, and a lack of respect for the handling of those firearms. As evidence by anti gun people in this thread arguing that the rules of handling a firearm don't need to be followed, because, well, reasons.

I've been trying to stay out of this thread, But as someone who's actually worked in the business, the last thing you want is an actor finger fucking a hand prop when you give it to them, guns included.

Any of us who read your posts ask ourselves why you are such a dumb ass, which is why i wouldn't be anywhere near you with a gun

But pertaining to the job of the armorer on a movie set he is suposed to handle the guns so if he hands it to the actor it will go bang on cue when the actor pulls the trigger and it will not kill anybody

if the actor takes the gun the armorer hands him and fucks with the gun there is no telling if it is gona fire when its suposed to, the scene could be a one-off take so they might be blowing up a set worth $$$$$ so its gotta be perfect including the bang so there is 1 chance only to do it perfect

so if i was a respected armorer in the business and an actor wasnt playing by the rules and it makes me look bad I would just say get your self a new armorer

Clearing a gun that is supposed to be empty isn't fucking with it. Its basic firearms handling rules.

You did a much better job of explaining it in this post. You prior one was near gibberish. However, in this one, you explain that this only applies to a gun that is supposed to go bang, not a gun that isn't supposed to go bang.

Besides, guns that go bang don't need to be a thing any more on sets. Read the link about the wick movies. "No reason to have a functional firearm on set." You want to ban guns everywhere BUT movie sets?

Yea, I get its sooooo dumb and reckless of me to suggest following the rules for safely handling a firearm. Good gosh.

if that ^^ isnt gibberish i don't know what is, it would be nice to ban dumb asses but thats not about to happen

so all the actor needs to do it take it from the armorer pull the trigger when the script sez hand it back to the armorer period

Lol yea you're too fragile to interact with anyone who disagrees with but you don't have the self control to strop yourself so you want someone else to do it foryou.

Your last sentence is gibberish. I can't even figure out what it means.

Clearing a firearm that is supposed to be empty isn't 'fucking with it"

Maybe if it were that much of a pain in the ass to use a gun on set we'd have more movies without guns. Gun culture in the North America is not just a bunch of crazies with AR15s. I've gone 74 years on this planet without seeing a gun pointed at a human being IRL and yet I doubt a day goes by when I don't see one on a screen. I didn't let my kids play with toy guns, until I quickly realized that a stick can make an excellent toy gun. Gun culture is as much a part of life for people who don't own guns as for people who do. Guns are very powerful symbols (and I'm not talking about dicks).

I’ve had multiple police guns pointed at me at one time. It’s definitely something that gets your attention. Moral of the story, walking home from a pub through the park as 6’ tall male can match the description of someone who just committed armed robbery of a 7/11.

I will try not to get a gun pointed at me again. Especially by a bubba with less training than the local police. That includes Alec Baldwin.

I'm in a robbery incredibly stoned BUT i couldn't leave, I had no dope left, all i could do is nothing so just act nonchalant and order a cheesburger.

I stand in middle of the drive-in lot with hands up, cop cars everywhere, a cop car pulls up with all wheels dragging cuz he's amped buddy law jumps out and grabs me the perp " I'm innocent man !"

girl leans out the window and sez " he's just getting a cheese burger "

the cop managed to not laugh but he was smiling

I'd like to think we'd all have the presence of mind to simply order a cheeseburger.
