Really surprised that the K108's are still around. I would have snagged them, but I already picked up a 191 at the end of last season. Reminder about the 3D sidecut...the 191's are (Tail) 36, (Waist) 21, (Tip) 44!

You know I've been heavily debating on these. I keep hoping someone else makes my decision easy.

^^ thank goodness. Want but absolutely do not need either pair after already adding your Husumes and mfree 108s to the quiver this year.

Now someone step up and score a deal on some katanas

Regarding the Katana, while I have only skied the 184, I appreciate this reference in the latest Blister Buyers' Guide found in the Dynastar M-Pro 105 section:

"But only the Sender Squad can match the M-Pro 105's ultra plush suspension (though the 191 cm Volkl Katana 108 might match their composure at high speeds on firm and / or rough snow.)"

I sure like the sound of that...

Bry, what are you leaving the Katana for? With an MFree and an LP105 already in the stable, the overlap with these are huge, as bad as I want to try them. If I could reuse the mount, it would be easier, but I'm a 335 BSL.

Preferred the Mantra 102 as is my daily driver and a better fit for the cornerstone of the narrow end of quiver.

For this "slot" so to speak also have the LP105s, sender squads and sourced some minty OG Cochise and BMX 105HPs last season from some aging rippers.

If I had it in me to live simply and have but a few pair, K108s would stay for sure. Wasn't easy for me to post them up bc they're so good, but I'm not skiing them all enough to justify.

Sort of looked at the last few seasons as "extended demo season" and trying to pare back while I keep tinkering and trying some older skis I missed out on originally.

    Thank goodness!

Thanks for the feedback, Bry. I'm looking at the M102 as a skinny ski as well, but not sure if there's enough difference to the MFree so also looking at the M6 for the skinny slot. I'll just have to get on Bandit's 191s for a demo session.
