And honestly, they don't make up a big percentage on the hill or trails. Baker has effectively priced out what was previously one of their core customers. And $5k bikes.

Don't forget the turbulence you will experience on the approach as you descend to 3000ft and hold for 20 minutes to avoid seatac traffic

He is correct. Duke's restaurants are one of the biggest buyers of copper river coho. They actually help keep the price to fisherman up.

We had backpacked in towards Big Jim Mountain in the spring (late may?) and camped with snow on the ground up in the basin. We came back out and I stepped over the snake a few miles from the TH and still at like 4000’

SLC is actually the only good part of i80. You get there quick from Wendover there is no traffic and before you know it your up that massive hill towards park city and in WY quick. Ever drive 50 at night? Its soul crushing leaving SLC area and having to go through that desert for 6 hrs praying nothing goes wrong before Fallon.

NV blows to drive though WY is crazy windy and Nebraska is literal hell. Utah is the good part.

Unlike many other big cities in america there really arent any legitimately dangerous areas. There are higher (property) crime areas, and poorer/dilapidated areas, but nothing like the gang ridden violent hoods in many big cities.

Just random vagrants who will attack and kill people randomly. We also have increasing gang violence. Although you’re right the gang violence isn’t as bad as else where, you just might be randomly attacked at 9 am downtown.

Because we are a true blue area in a very blue state, we arent a target of political marketing during election season so you wont have your mailbox stuffed full of political junkmail on a daily basis.
What’s your address? I can forward you all the ones I get.

We really dont have much that wants to kill you here.
    Just local government

Seems like a good alternate to Bellingham.
