    Worth quoting

It is indeed snowing. One of my best skiing memories of the past decade was Christmas Day storm skiing at Homewood. It was deep. 4 feet on top of nothing

I am extremely pleased with how this storm is panning out. I might have windows on Thursday and Sunday to play. Otherwise life is busy until after Christmas. Have fun out there this coming week and play safe.

Thanks mom! That's mother nature, for the great base building that drops in pretty much one installment. Expecting great riding this coming weekend. Backcountry might stay sketch for a bit tho...
And nevertheless, I'll just say it. Hype trains are overrated.

I had a pair of those boots back in the day

I’ll be shocked if any resort opens today, gonna be a real challenge for the employees to even get to work, I have 3 feet sitting in my street, not going anywhere for awhile. Maybe in the afternoon heavenly can get the face going, probably the only run with enough pitch to even ski.

4:00 in the morning, woke up and thought I’d peak outside, dam insta winter

I cleared all the snow just before bed

Its a killer for cheap labor in general. I think j1 visas were hard as shit to get this year anyway.

Dang those look nice!! gotta find some 28.5s and I'll pop them into my snowblades for a month. Good advice PD.

Problem for me is that the injury was from compression (smashed a rock super hard underfoot), so downward pressure is horrible at the mo.

Looks like its going to be a fantastic couple of weeks though, hope you all are getting it! Planning to get some updates done to the NV bc guide, so will have more easy beta available if anyone is interested

Speaking of things to watch, South Lake local Molly Armanino put out an edit with some pretty rad backcountry shredding:

And the new Blank film is phenomenal, per usual. Josh Daiek has a segment that features a lot of Tahoe. Have to say it was pretty fucking weird hearing Baby J referred to as 'the old man.'

22 Blue - Looking ahead to the New (aka Fuck Summer (aka Tahoe Thread))

^^ Molly’s boyfriend Kyle is a Squaw regular who gets after it as well. Have some great photos of him dropping into Schmidiots a few years back (actually making turns at the top). They’re the more low key power skiing couple of the region.

Hey btw, girlfriend loved the new shred sticks! It was super cool to watch the progression in her skiing too. All of a sudden she was actually able to turn, could negotiate off piste, and was smiling while skiing. Big thanks again MTT!

Sadness for wobby. Also for my snowblower. Ran it two days ago to make sure it was ready and this morning it's a total dud.

Wait! Was this around 1030 about half way up Collins. Saw patrollers assisting a man down.

    Hope you feel better soon.
