That should make for a stable base if it ever snows.

I don’t have SLT recs, but one other option for you: there are a handful of stores with multiple locations, Bluezone Sports and Olympic Bootworks come to mind. It’s worth confirming with them, but you can probably buy boots from their Truckee/Olympic Valley locations where you can see a specifically recommended boot fitter from this thread and then get the boots tweaked later in SLT. So invest in one drive around the lake and then have the convenience of a SLT shop to dial in the fit.

Last 3 boots I’ve gotten are from the Powderhouse demo center near the Gondola. Bobby has always done a great job fitting me.

Little bit of Tahoe in here, but mostly Eastside with this post. Got out to the Bloody last weekend and it was decent! Peruse if curious.

Olympic Boot works (ski run and pioneer) in SLT.

So, I tried to help y'all by leaving to Maui. Maui was definitely the call.
I'm cool with this, as long as you Kirkwood Bro Brah's stay away from Heavenly when 88 closes- TahoeBc

In South Tahoe, the choices for bootfitters are:

    PowderHouse Boot Bandits demo center.
    Sports LTD
    Olympic Bootworks.
    Bluezone

Sugar Bowl has delayed opening. No new date. I'm sure we're all shocked.

Dunno if he is still bootfitting, but Pat Medau used to be THE bootfitter in SLT.
Both me and Vets went to him back in the day. Heck, I drove around the lake to get fit by him when I first moved up here.

I've got a bunch of things that are collecting dust and would prefer them to be used if anyone needs them. I'll list up some prices for some things, other things are free. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Sierra Avalanche Center.

1.) Dynafit Beast 16, but with the warranty radical toe so effectively the 14's. In great functioning shape, brake width is 105 but I have been able to get them over 110's without issue. I do have the horseshoe heel adaptor on a pair of Salomon MTN labs and can remove if need be or grab the MTN Labs, size 27.5 that still have a fair amount of life left. The only downside is that I do not have the screws for the bindings but I believe most shops should have some on hand or they can be found online fairly easily. Lets say $100 for the bindings, $50 for the boots...Probably would be best if they went together as the MTN labs are already tapped for the horseshoe but it doesn't matter to me.

2.) Dynastar Legend 94, size 189 still in plastic. I found these sitting by the dumpster where I live last spring, no idea what the story is. Whatever you would like to donate or free.

3.) I have some rims that came off my car that I no longer use. 205/55/16 with Michelin X-Ice. I would caution that one of the tires does have a fair gash in the sidewall and I wouldn't recommend driving on them. 5X112 for a lug pattern. Rims are in great ship, one has a little curbing but not bad, would be good for snows for sure. $100 for 4?

4.) 2 pairs of fox ranger mountain bike shorts. size 32, both are in fair shape. No chamois. Free

5.) Older Flylow Higgins in size large, lighter blue color, no pictures. Zipper is temperamental and sometimes splits when zipping, probably could use a wash but actually in decent shape. Free

6.) Stock liner for Dynafit hoji pro tour, baked but not used much, came out of the 27.5 shell I believe...Free if anyone needs them
