    BTW, if anybuddy knows about or hears of a rental in Kings Beyotch/Tahoe Vista between now and December, holler. Just me, my cat, and the usual tools and toys (bikes/paddleboards etc). Would love long term. Actually moving back out of a place I just moved into because the landlord insisted I could not remove or cover the ring camera that was right at my front door in a private backyard area. He was actively monitoring it too.

    I've got 5 single day Mt. Whitney permits reserved and paid for on Oct 7th that I won't be able to use due to a last second wedding invitation. Thought I would offer them up if anyone is interested. I can print the permits off one week in advance and email them to you. I've done the up and down in a day three times in the past, it's a ball buster, but a cool experience. Hit me up and you can have them.

    Pretty sure the single day permits work for any route, but the overnight permit is either Whitney trail or north fork of lone pine (for mountaineers route).

    My kid and DIL did it--descent by the mountaineer's route. And permit--they didn't need no permit. They didn't have to show you any stinkin' permit.
