Guys please. All I got out of this was 4 pages of bitching about traffic and like 3 dad pow pics. I'm stuck at home with a sore ankle and need some stimulation. Help a brother out.

Wobby the snow was to deep to stop and my hands to cold to take off the gloves for a snap.
I'm cool with this, as long as you Kirkwood Bro Brah's stay away from Heavenly when 88 closes- TahoeBc

There's worse things to be complaining about than shoveling & traffic. Boulder, CO today.
Winds of 80+mph pushing the fire, rapid spread rate. Snow forecast for New Years if they can hang on to it.

Kirkwood couldn't get 4 going. Good day but skied snow set up pretty good. Still a lot of scraps to scrape.

Ha! Traffic was brutal both going and coming from Sac to Sugar Bowl.
Should have left the house an hour earlier.

I was thinking I should have come up yesterday, with a moderate storm and chain controls, rather than today with dry crowded roads.
It was a drag to arrive 5 minutes after the power on the north side of Donner Lake shut off, although it only took a couple of hours to get it going again. 15th or 16th outage of an hour or more since June--I stopped officially counting at 10. The longest being 4+ days.
Still it was great to get up here after spending the storm in Sacramento to make my wife happy.

Went out for a tour in the afternoon but got a little lightheaded and was solo so I kept things super simple.

PD it looks like you've got a marmot or some sort of corgi trailbreaking for you. I hope the lightheaded moments go away soon.

I've been doing a bunch of local exploring that I'm guessing you'd like. It's so nice to be able to ski all the way to 5000'.

Today my friend forgot his poles, so he did a 9.5 mile, 5100' day with my car shovel as a pole. His skiing didn't seem to suffer much at all, but I'm guessing the kick turns were tough.

The CDC says it's not omicron unless it comes from the Omicrônne region of France. Otherwise it's just sparkling covid.

Sorry to hear about your ankle! Did you get those bindings? Might have an extra set for ya.

    Happy surfing

Looks awesome... start out with a crest tour, then do a Winter Western States. Probably more than a 3-day trek though.

doubt. I'm still coughing up lung chunks. 90% sure it's the bronchitis I get after every infection but there's not tests (as of yesterday anyway) to be sure
