    Yes:

“A female suspect was taken into custody after evidence was obtained indicating she was responsible for setting several spot fires which resulted in the fire. She later admitted to investigators of having set the fires intentionally.”

She’s a messed up in the head tweaker… or that’s the word anyway. Ugh. Why can’t she just tear apart electronics and try to put them back together like the other meth heads?

    #WashburnFire on Friday
It got even worse on Sunday. The weather looks calm for a few days tho and that seems to help calm the fire.

22 Blue - Looking ahead to the New (aka Fuck Summer (aka Tahoe Thread))

Just finished a buttload of work in a row but I was able to get out on the 6th before work for July turns. As well as one of the coolest encounters with wild life I've ever had even if it was a bit scary. On the way up while bushwhacking between woods lake and the trail to round top lake we encountered a deer very nearby that stared us down. Whiskey hadn't seen it so we hustled away in the other direction quickly to avoid a long delay as he will often chase deer for quite a while. We were successful but I still noted it was weird how the deer just appeared feet away and held it's ground. Fast forward to the way down reversing the same bushwhack but just me and whiskey this time we stumble upon the same deer but whiskey leads the charge. Then the hoof was on the other paw as the deer refused to run and started chasing Whiskey instead. That interaction was hilarious but I didn't have the phone out yet. Then the deer kept chasing Whiskey and followed us down the entire hill. I am fairly certain she wins the Bad Ass Momma Award for July in Alpine County anyway. Having said that, Whiskey wouldn't hurt a baby deer and I would have rather seen them meet. Like so (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKztz7xHxkA)

There's currently a large industrial fire at the Ampine Fibreform factory in Jackson/Sutterhill. It is being shown on the argonaut alert cam

Palisades released a teaser trailer for the upcoming World Cup in February. It will be a crapfest with parking/logistics but I'm really looking forward to it. I've got a U16 skier who will get to see a World Cup GS race (GS is his favorite discipline) on his home mountain:

I've been in Telluride most of the summer and its crazy that PTOV doesn't have a mountain bike park. Not that I'm any good at biking but its still fun

Alert on my car radio for flash flooding in the Tamrack burn scar--cars being swept off the road. Maybe flash floods will make up for the loss of the water park.

Remeber the scene near the end of Fatal Attraction when Glenn Close gets drowned in the bathtub, but she's not really dead?

Heads up that Sports Hub is stacked with excess past-season inventory. Labor Day sale is gonna be wild. But things are already bigly discounted.

    22 Dynafit Beast 108 173/181/188 $350
    22 Fischer Hannibal 106 171/178/185 $375
    22 V-werks Katana 184/191 $600
