Wasatch 21/22 - We're All Here 'Cause We're Not All There!

20" At the Alta Collins snow study plot. Conga line up Collin's Gulch. Just had someone ask me if there were any trails around without snow because they wanted to go hiking. Sorry, buddy, we just put away the summer trails last week. Bringing out the moguls tomorrow morning.

Not here yet thankfully, but if you pay $49 (and up) you're stoke upload will get fasttracked by the TGR servers.

Anyone know if reservations will be necessary this Saturday to ski Mambo?

No reservation, but because it's a weekend you'll have to pay to park

field verified 20" at the plot. heavy and dense all the way to the dirt. the lower angle meadows were too deep to ski and bottom wasn't hit on the steeper stuff. was hesitant to be optimistic about the snow in a thread everyone in SLC reads but..... for now, it's just going to get better with more skier traffic!!

thank you to the first-tracks-everers on Schnina's for exposing the rocks for the second-tracks-everers!

    You here this year?

Snowy in PC, lightly snowing down to about a mile above lambs on the drive back from duck hunting tonight.

Skied high greeley this evening, didn't encounter any rocks until much lower down the mountain, pretty nice snow up top! Got real heavy real fast though. Also didn't encounter that avy debris up there, think it was closer to gunsight.

    rope drop on the shoulder

Cold temps helped the snow and skier traffic made the well traveled spots pretty fun and carvy.

Nice. With snow forecasted to begin overnight and throughout the day tomorrow could be fun. Potential low wind refills during the day.
Phew, new snow, low vis and schools of land sharks. IDK

    someone core'r n me

stim was mostly a bunch of huge senders off the cat track, some messed up pow 8s, and the skin track someone decided to set in order to avoid walking another 50 yards to the switchback.

I emailed Wilson and Mendenhall urging them to join Ron Wyden in condemning Powdr. Probably wont go anywhere, but may be worth sending them a note saying that this should be reversed / condemned.

Wyden urges POWDR to drop Mt. Bachelor 'Fast Pass plan'; cites equitable access (centraloregondaily.com)
