The surface hoar sluffs on steep slopes yesterday were so loud - crazy for the Wasatch IMO! Broken glass everywhere going down the hill quickly.

Skiing was real good today. Deepest inch I've skied and really freshened things up around here, people were stoked!

I can go this weekend or some other weekend too. If we wait later in the season there may be no snow if things don't turn around quick!

You are welcome of course but what are you going to do, skin from the SB parking lot and I'll meet you on top of the tram? Ha, that would work.

I mean the one above Ogden, there are other Banana Chutes around. The one above OG is the big bad one though, been wanting to ski it for a loooooooooong time. Seems like low elevation lack of coverage would make the exit... interesting, hedge trimmer or not.

I skied it again last year after having not done it for years. Hiked from my house, to the top of the chute, skied and then hiked back up and exited the *good way*.

edited to say: pack shoes for the walk out unless the valley starts getting hammered.

    ^^ Classy.
I'd love to get the tour someday, preferably starting from the valley.

About fucking time. Almost 3 weeks since the last real storm and I'm just about out of ideas for good snow. I was doing great til last weekend but this week's outing have been less than pleasing so far. I enjoy skiing mank but I can't downclimb anymore shit that doesn't go skis-on for the season, I've exceeded my quota.
