Gonna be grilling in the Wildcat lot midday, got plenty of extra beer and brats. Grey Silverado, ask for change.

Edit to add: High boy skiied like somebody groomed it and then spread 3" of chalk on top. So good!

Great windbuff at the Bird, too. Great Scott was firing. Go fast, catch air, be happy.

Dropping into SLC tomorrow night to catch a quick a day at Snowbasin and Park City (I’m on mehPic). I’m sure Monday will be tough everywhere since it’s a holiday, but leaning towards Snowbasin. Thoughts from the locals?

They'll both be busy, but I think the skiing at Basin is way better.

Wasatch 21/22 - We're All Here 'Cause We're Not All There!

Thanks for the confirmation. The buddy who I’m skiing with has never been to either but really wants to ski PC. We’ll do Snowbasin on Monday and see if we make it to PC on Tuesday or stay north.

I concur that Snowbasin is the better hill. Has always reminded me as a mini-Whistler kind of hill.

Stumbled upon the new Evo store today, I guess it soft-opened Monday? I've never seen so many brands of ripping skis in one place - except the Seattle Evo store I guess. With Level 9 in the same building it's a lot of bike and ski shit all together.

If you skate you should go down there ASAP before everyone figures out the (inside) park is open. Only a few people skating there today.

good to know, anything on sale yet?

Also I don't think Basin will be that bad on Monday btw. I've never skied pc but I have a pass at basin and I think it's a great mountain that I can drive to with no traffic and way less jerrys

I was looking at the Epic Mix app today, and if their data can be believed the lines weren't too bad at Park City today.

Solitude was totally empty. Didn’t wait in a single line all day.

Seems like 2 week dry spell plus omicron is keeping the crowds away. Despite the holiday.
