Hard Rock Thread: No Boomer Recs Allowed

We have a metal and punk thread but I don't think we have a hard rock one? Anything that kinda partly hard rock or completely rock is welcome but anything that melds a few genres (but rocks) is always nice IMO. (And no, this isn't a place for you to tell us about AC/DC, Kiss or Deep Purple, VH, etc. That shit is fine but everyone knows about it.)

To start off, the new song from the unreleased "Crawler' album form idles is pretty sweet, album comes out Nov 12th I think.

Not definitively hard rock AT ALL but it rocks, so this is what the thread is about. Got anything new and different to share? Any thee oh sees fans for example?

Damn, I had to watch a Van Halen vid to cleanse my eyes after the above vid....too much sweat and mouth. 1st impression is those dudes should stay idle.

I got a buddy who's touring with Fit for a King right now.. Guitar tech, photographer, and sometimes stands in on bass or guitar. Not my thing but respect their chops. They're good at it and people dig it so good for them :-)

It would help to post yer favorite, or just a 'recent release favorite' video of any recs here.

^ I'm going to give them a listen, like what I hear so far.

Wolfmother comes to mind for this thread. Don't like all their songs, but there are some good ones.

Ok, so no boomer recs, but is 90s rock allowed? Or are we talking newer stuff? Have had this one randomly stuck in my head lately for some reason.

So you're looking for stuff more like Florence and the Machine? You're not really looking for just modern, but modern that sounds like 70s and 80s rock?

    These are cool.

Let's try to get some more stuff that's not 20 years old, there's plenty of newer music out there.

The new Doctor smoke seems more like rock than metal

Devil electric has a new release

    Old Man Wizard

Jesus, are most of these posts what pass for hard rock these days? Seems more like electronica to me. I’m not a boomer so save it for Benny.

I think what the OP wants is AC DC or Stone Temple, same shit, but made in the last five years.

There's a lot of shitty music posted in this thread.

If you don't know what hard rock is don't offer suggestions. ESPECIALLY BANDS YOU DON"T EVEN LIKE FOR CHRIST SAKE.

Thank you, thank you. This shouldn't be so hard to figure out. Post newer hard rock you like - simple. Boomers get confused easily I guess?

If you guys click the film button in the reply window you can insert the video link so we can see what you are posting....

Some hard rock below. Who know the French could be aggressive???

Also if something is rocking but not hard rock, post away. Some good psychedelic rock out there, for example.
