I haven't been paying attention to Clutch for a long time as their albums have been ho-hum for a long time but they're coming to SLC next week and Quicksand is opening for them! That may be worth the money. And Helmet. And if Clutch plays some old songs Spacegrass....could be a great night.

My old moniker here, 'slip' came from a Quicksand album.

Bumblefoot (guy played with GNR when Slash was doing his own thing) is something I'd not been exposed to until recently.. Jam buddy has me playing "Don't Know Who to Pray to Anymore".

Some here might dig it.. Dude's got chops for sure.

Lots of boomer music in this thread.
Meanwhile, Vevo are giant douchebags and don't let you embed, so you'll probably have to click on this one.

    From their label’s website:
“Heavy and melodic, Slomosa is a new band from Bergen, Norway who describes themselves as “a desert rock band from a cold country”. Their highly regarded debut album will bring a smile to the face of all fans of stoner, desert and heavy rock.”

I guess if you squint just right, some of Norway probably kinda resembles a desert.

Total AC/DC clones but really well done.
I'd almost argue they sound more like AC/DC than AC/DC does.
