Or another good band from our era, Trivium:

BTW, listen to their new album, "In the Court of the Dragon." Dudes are only in their 30s, but they rock almost like they're from a different era.

That was most definitely hard rock. It's clearly you who knows nothing about music

You make a request that's very poorly defined then bitch when people can't read your mind.. Not "boomer"... Is that everything AFTER 1965 or are you not wanting stuff Boomers like from the 80s?? Someone asked about 90s. No response.. You're acting like an idiot.

Rob Zombie went and made a supergroup doing boomer covers. So far they've only put out one single, but it's something new.

Wait, how can we trust this guy^^^ He's clearly not DJSapp

I don't want to judge if it's good or bad - and I do have strong opinions - because other people will like stuff I don't like here, the only ask is post stuff that rocks (hard or not), that you like, and is recent.

SumDumbGuy - post some recent rock you like or shut the fuck up. If you STILL don't get what to do in this thread, just fuck off. Christ you are tiresome.

I was gonna say slift, but you got that one. Check out King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, if you haven't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmAlQvDQGoI

They remind me of Creed. Harder edged and not nearly as vanilla as Creed.

I don't listen to them regularly but I should.

The Mystery Lights debut album from 2016 is solid Garage / Psychedelic Rock - Video below is dumb but the song is good -

These guys have to be good live, right?

This thread needs some Black Country Communion.

    From their most recent one:

Jason sounding like his pop at the beginning of this one:
"The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size."

After your post I listened to a bunch of their albums, and I'm thinking you can't tell people to check out King Gizzard without some warning on why their albums don't often sound like the same band. You can only really appreciate them after listening to all/most their albums.

    Thanks though! Digging them.

How about this one, hard enough? New music from Spoon. It's got a good sound. Album comes out Feb. 11

Nice, I stopped listening to Spoon years ago because they got boring but that song isn't boring at all.

What the kids these days are listening to:

They need a good producer to make a solid album though, they are unfocused and all over the place sometimes.

If you haven't come across them already, check out Damaged Bug. It's a side project of John Dwyer (the main guy in the Osees). Not hard rock, but kind of... endearingly weird(?)

Toast - I like your style. I haven't heard of any of those bands except Fuzz. Downloading some albums now.

Ruby the hatchet was a fun show, if you like them muted, you might like Windhand.

Found this gift from a friend while cleaning up some stuff today, good excuse to bump the thread.
