Change you sheets, yes. But not bump chairs or serve food.
Vail, and most high end ski resorts, do their best to hide their use of migrant workers. Migrants are never in “customer facing” jobs. At vail the only people you see who speak Spanish are there to cater to the affluent guests from Latin America.

That's not true at all. I've worked at Vail and other high end resorts and J1 migrant workers work wherever they are qualified to work. From ski instructors to bumping chairs to restaurants, migrant workers are intricate parts of the ski industry.

J1 is a visa, approved by the federal government. The J1 kids at the ski resorts are usually from relatively affluent families, or are well educated. They are often fluent in English.
The migrant workers I’m referring to are “illegal aliens”. They don’t get the customer facing jobs and are more likely working for a contracting company that the resort hired.

At the premature end of the 2020 season VR dumped their J1’s out on the street. Many couldn’t get home.
I would imagine VR’s going to have a much harder time, attracting good candidates, this season.

Raises another question.. If the resort is on Federal land that probably means they are a federal contractor. Does that then fall under the mandate that 100% of ALL employees of said contractor/vendor must provide proof of vaccination? That's now the case for my employer... even if they are 100% work from home employees.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Wanting expansion in more mountains than the Alps isn't necessarily related to red hat derps.
I find it bemusing to watch here when mags, on one hand, decry lift lines and crowded resorts, and on the other; vehemently decry expansion into their favorite backcountry zones. It's a window into living irony...

Yup - everything you can get from their website, AND you too can be tracked by Powdr while they suck your battery dry.
My Gaia GPS app will do the same thing without them following me around…
And I didn’t see where they measure grins, hoots, snowgasms or face shots

• Real-time lift and trail status.
The lift is open or it's closed. BFD
I do not see any quality data from this app. Now if (bachelor) were transparent, they would have lift line cams. Maybe they can get the p-lots plowed & lifts spinning after a storm in time for their paying customers. PPPPPP.

Cams pointed @ base of Pine, CCX & NWX would be pretty indicative - although “real time” means “somewhere between 1 and 15 minutes ago”
Maybe they could use the snaps to sell Fast Tracks Passes!
Cam @top of CCX would be great too.
All of which could be accessed via their website on phone in near real time
The “quality data” is the tracking info on you - where you ski @ different times, when you hit Clearing Rock, when/where you stop to pee or break for safety purposes, etc.

Don't forget that those tracker apps know when you duck a rope and will squeal to patrol who will meet you at the lift to tell you how long your pass is revoked.

Perfect opportunity. You could heckle jerrys, yell at folks that fall on the off load ramp and give wrong directions to Texans.
