COLORADO: Which mtns still have MTB lift service?

Flying into Denver next week and plan on renting a bike and riding some resorts. Which mountains still have lifts open servicing mountain bikes?

I don't know about Colorado. Angel fire is still open weekends. Leaves should be peaking next week.

I think a lot closed last weekend and it's looking like we'll get some snow up high this weekend and early next week, at least here in the Elks. But the trail riding is all time right now if you're okay with pedaling

Pretty sure they are all closed.

You could probably rent an EBike and lap some resort trails with it. You'd be all alone.

I'm still shocked that no-one has figured out how to throw a lift up on the FR somewhere and build some trails that could be open most of the year. DH MTB is kind of a struggling industry out west where everyone pedals uphill.

You can shuttle Snowmass very easily.

I shuttle my dog. He’s old, but still loves the flow.

You'd likely need private land to do that.... no way is one of the county open space (JeffCo, Boulder or Larimer) properties going to allow that, nor will the Forest Service districts.

There is a bike park being build in Conifer.

As for OP’s question : nothing open. Maybe try to shuttle stuff? You
might be able to find a company still doing Monarch Creast (foose and greens have minimal pedaling) or… just pedal it’s a beautiful time of year to ride.

It's currently legal to ride an Ebike up Aspen Mountain, via the Summer Road, which is actually a county road.
But the Skico doesn't currently allow them on any trails.
I'd like to see them allow them on Scotties/Power of 4 and Conga Line on Highlands.
Nobody rides these trails, because they're just too hard to get too.

I know in Eagle County you can ride Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Mountain, who both allow Class 1 E-Bikes. Also the trails on Arrowhead are on private land allowing access for E-Bikes.

We've pedaled non-bikes up Keystone a bunch over the years, while they were opened and while they were closed. Never caught any flak for it. Kinda surprised more people don't do it actually. It's comparable to some of the more popular big rides in the area like Lenawee and Westridge, but with way more options and fun, purpose built trails and with a capable E-bike, it would be a blast.

south boundary shuttle still running. Have not ridden Foose or Greens but thought SBT was more fun than Silver or Starvation. couple of days at Angel Fire and SBT would be 3 good days or riding.

Correction: there's a group trying to build a bike park in Conifer. They do not have approval and there's a lot of local opposition so I'm not optimistic that it will get done.

Agree. That would be so sick to have nearby.
Maybe add a lift to Maryland Mountain and continue to develop the trails there?

The gondola at Telluride will be running till the 17th or so. Not exactly what you're talking about but you can ride lots of fun trails off the gondy.

edit: It's also free. But you should go to Angel Fire, Angel fire is sick

Only if they go left instead of right. Unless they are left handed, of course.

That sucks. I know it would be unpopular, but lift service into an expanded Apex could be pretty great....cut more trails in Enchanted Forest, and up towards to top. Fuck it, cut trails all the way to Chimney Gulch, and make it a year round downhiller’s dream.
