US Thai is right there, and awesome.
If lunch turns into happy hour, Joyride Brewing is also right there.

Mild-plus at US Thai == Medium anywhere else. Medium == pretty damn hot. Hot == v. hot. Thai Hot == death.

If you can't decide between the family, Edgewater Public Market allows you to pick from a variety of good choices and all eat together. Brewery is decent but not as primo as Joyride.

Pizza at Edgewater Inn is some of my favorite. Joyride is a great spot to grab a beer.

Edgewater Inn had great pizza and one of the best Bloody Mary’s. That area has grown a lot since I left 15 years ago.

As far as breweries around the lake, I would say Hogshead would be my favorite, mainly because it is cask ale that is unique, and they are the opposite of pretentious.. Joyride and Little machine are also very good. I know nothing about Seedstock.

Agreed. Hogshead is my fave. But you've got to be into the British ale thing. Seedstock is OK. But if you're going that far off the lake there are better options -- Westfax is $$$, Call To Arms, etc.

Lots of good food options up Tennyson and in W. Highlands as well.
