To be clear, a large contingent of us will be skiing Schweitzer on Sunday and have no plans of deviating from that.

Lookout got plastered and it’s been cold. I bet we can find some pretty great snow out that way.

We have plenty of time to come up with a plan on Saturday when skiing silver/ eating pizza in CDA. Ultimately if everyone wants to roll Schwiz I’m totally fine with that, I’m just saying I’m not tied to that idea and if people want to chase some soft snow I’m game to help point us in the right direction.

Marginal conditions are a True test to find the better ski… DW 104 or mfree 108.

I know the answer already but don’t want to upset the fanbois so we will just wait for results to come in

    May not need to:

I’ll have a backpack stashed in the lodge we can fill with pocket beers too if need be.

Should I bring MB108s or SGs for tomorrow? My heart says SGs, but my reason, based on lack of significant new snow, says MBs..

As much as I want to just bring both, it sounds like a logistical headache to bring both up the gondola and store somewhere up at the lodge.

    MB 108.

    Recon from today:
    Groomers are on point.
Variable in a lot of places.
Wind jacked a lot of places that made no sense, we discussed that we had not seen this ever before. Even in the trees.
Found some really good pow in a few locations.
Few areas had nice soft chalk.
    FUN will be had!
    See everyone tomorrow morning!
Everyone try to be up top by 9.
    Ticket sales open at 8.
    Tram loads at 8:15
Meet at the sign out front of the upper tram lodge at 830-9.
    Shred!

Today was such a mixed bag; so it’s hard to say. I know I could have skied some of the mixed/wind affected/soft more confidently but it’s frankly not wide open throttle conditions so me thinks the SG isn’t the option.

Piste is fast and CARVY pumped for taking Mfrees out again tomorrow.

Successful recon mission with @2funky @nwskier @ kopi_red for tomorrow.

What a day. Blue skies, absolute killer crew of ripping mags and soft conditions. The vibe was so high. Still buzzing. Killer dinner to round out the day. Ski y’all tomorrow!
