Honestly most Warriors fans were very thankful for what KD did for us but kind of happy to see him go at the same time (I said as much in the 2019 thread before he even got hurt). We wanted Steph to take over the reigns again and not be the villains and have it all be fun again. This last season was a validation of that obviously, but even the year before when we lost in the play-in but Curry went scorched earth over the last 20+ games proved the point as well. He’s our guy (he’s surpassed Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Buster Posey as the bay area’s most beloved athlete) and it was way more enjoyable. KD was never ever going to sniff that, not here.

I wouldn't get too caught up by a few people on Twitter. We aren't freaking out. Most Warriors fans knew GP2 was going to get paid and likely gone. Happy after all of those years struggling he finally cashed in. Going to miss him for sure but the reality is we need to see more minutes from Moody, Kuminga and Wiseman next season to see how they're coming along.

    Neither.

Smart, Brodgon, Brown, Tatum, Williams will start.

Horford, G Williams, White, Prichard, Gallinari off the bench. They will add a 3rd big to round out the regular season rotation.

Dammit. I love Brogdon but actively dislike the Celtics.

Dubs lock down Looney on a very team-friendly deal of 3 years / 25 million. Phew, that's all I cared about. If we lost both him and GP2 that would have sucked.

    I’m surprised. Interesting.

From the games I saw, Moody and Kuminga showed some serious flashes.

And no complaints with the Brogdon trade. If healthy, he makes them much deeper/better, and fits right in with the defensive identity. And they gave up a pick that will be very late, and two guys who aren't really part of the rotation (though I like Theis and will miss him).

while everyone bitches about calls i think Theis ranks right up there being the guy who never commits a foul.

Do you think they're definitely keeping Mitchell? Because it seems like they could still go either way, build around him or completely blow it up.

    Why not build around Spider?
Good and getting better, coachable, exactly what all these young players will want to be in a few years, and what else are we trading for now, what makes the Jazz better?
