The singer/lead guitar player in this video is Bill Kirchen , who for a while lived in the DC area, and between tours played locally with his band Too Much Fun. A great rockabilly “Titan of the Telecaster,” he kicks ass and puts on quite a show. And a great guy, he played at my and Mrs. ThreeRidges’ wedding, which ended up being quite a party. I think he’s based in Austin now, go see him if you have the chance. Www.billkirchen.com

Sorry to hear.
Kirchen is supposed to do a house concert in Sacto in a month or so--hope it happens. Apparently he's bringing some other Airmen rather than his usual band. I've seen him at least a half dozen times, always a great show. My guitar hero. Hope Riser approves. I heard him in an interview saying how much he likes to play weddings. Maybe the open bar?

No you don't, but that never stopped me. And Kirchen is a flamingliberalpinkocommieanarchoantifa.
I've spent hours trying to play the guitar part of Hot Rod Lincoln. I can play it at speed almost clean but the hard part is the syncopation--it's subtle because it's fast but the odd notes are longer than the evens and that's hard for me to do and that speed but it makes all the difference in whether it swings or not.
