What a veritable Renaissance man he was: actor, director, novelist, painter, composer, cable car operator, and much more.

How To Eat Your Watermelon In White Company (And Enjoy It)
I just finished watching this 2005 documentary on the life and times of Melvin Van Peebles.
It's a classic, linear doc covering his upbringing and career, touching upon his ideologies and legacy with input from the man hisownself as well as friends and family.
    Highly recommended.

    Streaming on Kanopy.
