I always read it as Extra, until I rode with you (virtually) then I read it as "XTR".
I agree, in todays market I'll take what ever parts I can get.
Even World Champion Elisa Balsamo's new custom painted Cannondale SuperSix Evo was unveiled with rainbow bands, and Ultegra 8070 groupset.

Ski fatties whilst listening to white rap/techno =sooo '00s according to at least one PC sales person. I'm deciding whether my 118 underfoot Bodes are sufficient for this season, or I should buy those "One Love" Protests listed in another thread.

Every season is different. But they'll still slay spring conditions.
Therefore, the answer you seek is:

For anyone that forgot, this is TGR, not Park City. >110 prolly is dead. any of you buy your current skis in person in a shop at full price? buehler?
I have a more fun argument tho. if you disagree that >110 is dead youre a climate change denier. change my mind

Sounds like a guy who doesn't ski Baker.

This.
I used to ski Baker ~60-70 days a year when I had a cabin there.
My “everyday” Baker ski was 122mm Factions or 122m Renegades. And a 115mm NAS Pow for groomer days.
No Baker for me since Feb 2020 cause of stupid Covid.
Got remarried to a Whistler skier in 2019, with a daughter in ski school, so we mostly ski there now.
Sold the Factions and gave the Rens to my son.
Go to skis at Whistler are Enforcer 104s and Rustler 11s. It was kind of refreshing to go narrower?
I still think 110-112mm is the best pow width._________________________________________________

Climate change is expected to worsen the frequency, intensity, and impacts of some types of extreme weather events. Large storms are likely to become more frequent or more intense. I don't think anyone can say that Climate Change means less powder days (climate is different from weather).

Ahh man you mean to tell me, that the salesperson in Park City, the place that exists because wealthy people from the deep south spend crazy amounts of money to vacation anywhere besides the deep south, this guy said 106 was a powder ski? Fuck...

I was daily driving double helixes when my friends from Portland came out to the Wasatch and asked if they were my powder skis. I said no, these were the everyday skis and it kind of blew their minds.

Sent from my iPhone using TGR ForumsI need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
