Sleep apnea and suicide. Mag down?
https://bikepacking.com/plog/iohan-g...iev-1988-2021/
Svengali posted about Iohan’s death https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...P-Bikewanderer in bike forum. Apparently he was a mag? I only saw his stuff on bikepacking.com.
From comments I’m seeing everywhere on this sad news, it’s not uncommon for sleep apnea to cause depression.Last edited by frorider; 09-22-2021 at 10:40 AM.

Saw the post by Svengali. No idea if he was mag.
Sleep apnea takes its toll for sure. You wake up every morning feeling like you never went to bed and that tiredness just perpetuates. CPAP changed my life the first time I used it. I'm looking into a mimi CPAP with solar powered battery pack for multinight trips as we speak. Something like that could have possibly saved this guy's life.
Tragic that he couldn't get help and it drove him over the edge. Valhalla.swing your fucking sword.

Ouch, ya solid dude from several boards I post on here and there. Mental illness comes on many forms with different causes. Dude must have been in a situation where the odds were stacked against him for sure. Glad he's at peace now. I'm sure his friends and family are devastated.

Yup it’s a bummer. I think Iohan’s death just connected the dots for many of us. Amazing athlete, amazing endurance, but in the background of all this he had this issue wearing him down.
It seems that conversations about the many forms and causes of depression are more open these days. I hope that means we identify it and help ourselves and others more.

I don't see any mag with the name "bikewanderer", is svegali's use of what seems like a username what made you think he was a mag? Or is there something else?
In any event, seems like an amazing guy, and definitely a bummer."fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ

I don't think he was a mag. It appears that BikeWanderer was his name on a few forums and platforms.
