Be sure to use lots of epoxy when mounting that headlight or it will pull right out..

I've still got a skiable pair of Split Tails..

That is sweet! Park it in yer yard and convert it into a chicken coop, if you have a a really big yard, is probably the best use for it.

Definitely not worth restoring and getting it drivable just for that paint job.

Would take that side and cut it out and use and mount on garage wall and put split tails on the wall. Mrs would lose her mind.

Hexcell is actually still a company. They no longer make skis, but they do still make composites for sporting goods industry.

That sure stirs the memory bank!! I saved all my money working on a ranch for 2 bucks an hour, summer 1977. 14 years old. Bought brand new Hexcel Sundance and Scott Superhot2's. I was rocking a Ditrani down jacket and stretchy race pants. Lol! Always wanted some of those wax fill Hanson!
    Thanks for that Schindler!

Were my Sundance II's with the matchy matchy orange 727 equipe's in the back? They disappeared from in front of the clock tower (at the resort formerly known as Squaw) in Jan. '80.
