Wish he would post more but he got into a phase several yrs ago where he was not as interested in participating in social media / being on the computer a lot.
But he’s been doing more editing lately so maybe we’ll see something fun from him. of course I will be the first to post it here
Ya. I get it. Don't blame him.
I thoroughly enjoy watching that dude get after it though!

The men's and women's version are different at 95mm vs 92mm underfoot respecively. These skis are just fun. The only real limitations that were found was with people who ski with a closed stance, that 154mm tip needs a wider open stance to be appreciated. The ski carries over to this coming season with just some graphic updates.

Just in case you forgot what this thread was about….

    More Blade pics.

Surprised at the depth/length of the tip rocker, when decambered.

Can’t wait to roll these over on edge. The tips are huge. Looking forward to early season groomers now!

Did you size down compared to your R9? The blade seems to have a shorter effective edge. I wonder how they compare on snow.

    Ya I sized down. As most of my skis are 179cm-181cm (Eg 180cm Proto 118s, 180cm Rustler 11s, 179cm Enforcers 104s, 179cm M-Free 99s, 180cm Ripstick 96, 179cm Mindbenders 116s, 181cm Nomads) and so I got the 176cm Line Blade.

I had read you should size ~5cm down for the Blade. Local ski shop told me the same thing.

PS I swapped my new 180cm Rustler 9’s back into the shop for some new 179cm Dynastar M-Frees 99s.

One ski I really want to A/B the 2021 Blade (154-95-124) against is my 2022 Elan Ripstick 96 Black Editions (134-96-113), which I find light, yet powerful and stable.

Also interesting is that I just bought the Freeskier Magazine 2022 Buyer’s Guide and the Line Blade has a 2-page ad spread and a 1-page review in that magazine. The Blade seems to be popping up everywhere, or Line is starting to market it more.

The 6’2” dude in this 2022 vid skis the 176cm?

Looks like a really fun ski for in the resort, when conditions are not blower. And laying trenches in spring slush.

I’m excited to try mine on early season groomers when not much is open off piste.

Long time lurker here. Just dropping the sickest footie I've compiled over the last decade.

but really had to do some groomer turns for an AMGA ski course application. Fingers crossed to finally hit those black diamonds next wintah.

If this only had a lil "Black and Yellow" dub'd over it, it would be legendary

    Line Blade

I’ve been sitting in the shadows trying really hard not to call the Blade the new BBR.

Watching this thread gush over the Line version of this genre has been quite telling. It has also been further support to why I can’t stand anything Line puts under my feet.

Don’t listen to me, tho. I’m one of the old school grey hairs on here always deleting stuff the next day once I realize I was talking shit and it’s kinda dumb.

    Dumb like the Line Blade.

I gotta say, now that I’m in it to win it, there are so many skis available that most definitely shred easier and harder when conditions are not blower and/or laying trenches in Spring slush.

And I’m going to thrash on KC’s business model. Homie buys every ski he can get his hands on. Skis it. Then sells it.

It’s as if he has absolutely no idea what he wants or is unwilling to learn how a ski behaves.

But in the meantime— we should all be listening to his thoughts on why a BBR (I’m sorry— a Line Blade) in a 176 is the right ski for a 6’2” dude.

Regardless. Thanks for the cheap skis! And we all love the dialogue. But at some point you’re going to have to commit to something you like.

Gaijin…you grumpy? Or a dick? Hard to tell.

I know you just ski M102s and Rens. That’s great.

As I’ve told you before…it’s not a business model.

    It’s a hobby.

Some people will read about a lot of skis.

I will ski a lot of skis.

    I’m a drunk grumpy dick.

    I apologize. Again.

When I’m typing it I think it’s funny. I’m like— No, that sarcasm will read through. They’ll get it.

What an asshole. I don’t why I get on TGR after a night of boozing.

I’m not hating on you. I’m envious of you.

    Fuck me.

    Hahaha. Good on ya Gaijin.

Just tell us you’re drunk and then all is forgiven.

When I get drunk I go to Corbett’s website. Then new skis show up a week later.

I’ll be posting my 9-ski quiver soon in Quiver Pics.
You can drunk rant again there.

    Carry on.

I'm 100% in the market for a 176 Blade. Retail deals are looking like $500. I'm more in the $ 2-300 range depending on bindings and holes. I have small feet and a <300 BSL.

    Anyone moving them?
