Micol has kept the stoke going and kept us all geared up.
Splat gave this board steroids and was always generous to maggots.
DoWork is a legendary kind maggot, and I doubt he could leave his family and baby (Magic Mtn) in season he is a deserving dude as good as they come.
MtnbikerBoarder already got a pass this season based on his previous good behavior, but maybe the good times should keep rolling for him?

So many good people around here, tough to choose.

ETA: yeah, duh, of course Cat In January.

Cat sounds good, traveled around in his Subi providing stoke. Split might be nice, how much do you need? Would let more enjoy some travel fun.

The current plan is to pay for airfare, so yeah, splitting the $3300 would give airfare for 3. I know 2 candidates that are good with this and can make the trip. I just need 1 more.

RA13 and ESS are my two strong votes. I'm happy to kick in a couple more ducats to ESS if he takes a bit to respond and airfare goes up.

How would someone feel to find out they just missed out on covered airfare to Yurp due to a brief vacation from the TRG?

Also I'd throw tgapp's hat in the ring. I'd hate to know how much money he has spent shipping coffee to various mags as fundraisers for P.O.W. and this. I would suspect it is approaching Yurp airfare. Or at least a fun weekend in Amsterdam on the way to a ski trip.

I'm waiting on ESS. ra13 and m2711c are the frontrunners.

He's going on his own $ I think.

I'd throw JayPowHound in the running too as someone who sounds like he could use some Euro perspective.

It would be great if people would post here, but I'll summarize some nominations:
    Sailcat
    SVS
    Djongo

Since people aren't voting here so much, the private communications I've gotten have raisingarizona13 in the lead. Next, we've got a bunch of votes for SVS and Djongo.

Djongo is high on the list as he will show you a great time in jackson, as well as genuinely caring about our community and people.

Stoke contribution ranks high in my measures, so both SVS and Djongo are right behind raisingarizona13.

    On the hows:

It's easy. Get passport (takes 3 months, costs $170) . Make flight reservation. Get yourself to SLC or Seattle with a 40L and boots carryons + rollerbag for skis and debris. Board plane. Fly to Zurich. Get off, walk through customs, pick up rollerbag, walk downstairs to train. Everyone speaks English. Trains to Rueras leave from the airport about every hour 8:00 am to 7:30 pm and cost less than $30 each way. You'll have to change trains in downtown Zurich, which is big, but all the signs and stuff are in English again and it just amounts to finding the correct track. Hop train. You will change trains at least twice en route to Rueras, but again, it's easy. Rueras is between Andermatt and Disentis, tell the conductor. Once Rueras is announced, go to a door and push the little green button signalling a stop request (Rueras is tiny). Walk down the hill to Mountain Lodge, it's about 500 feet. You'll need phone service, which you can get here in the states. If you can cover the airfare, we'll cover the rest.

Yes, I support those two for sure.

A east coast mag should make the third.
