From the Faux News article, statement from the girl's family's lawyer:

Stafford continued: "Brian claims he wants to sit in the background while we search for Gabby in the wilderness of the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks. Brian left Gabby in the wilderness with grizzly bears and wolves while he sits in the comfort of his home. In his home! Brian, how could you do this to Gabby? You selfishly remain silent while Gabby is all alone in the wilderness. Brian, your silence is reprehensible! We beg you to do the right thing and help us bring Gabby home."

Setting aside perpetuating the myth of man-eating wolves, I can't possibly imagine the hell I'd feel as a parent knowing that my kid was gone missing and a shithead of a vanlifer who could help is purposefully remaining silent.

Again, this psycopathic behavior is very much like the Sloot. "I know what you want to know, but I'm not telling you".

For sure, that's why the statement focusing on the terrors of the wilderness was strange to me versus, you know, the strong possibility that he offed her.

If she was my only kid, I’d go to jail for life for killing the fucker.

Oh sure, who knows, maybe trying to keep the accusations partially on the sideline in the hopes he miraculously decides to become a human and assist their search?

I thought the Harbor Freight chop saw was the preferred interrogation tool around here?

I was expecting this thread to be titled mysterious death of #vanlifer. Add me to the list of people who are 99% sure he murdered her.

While I too think he likely killed her, I’m guessing it was an accident of some sort.
    Very sad however it happened…

Ummm, an accident? - like he was just trying to give her a beating and gave her a murder instead? I’m not sure there’s a real distinction there.

The police report is interesting. Sounds like there was a history of mental illness with both parties.

At least she got a few licks in before they were separated by the cops.

I know quite a few...old neighborhood friends. Not even a bit of bullshit in that statement. They've offered it to me and I was like ummm thanks but no. Always good to have in the back pocket.

    Mental illness?

That report seems like a bad fight.

Maybe you saw something I did not see, where do you see a history of mental illness by the BF ? I only see it in the girl from your link.

So if you think about it, #vanlife includes everything you need for a successful murder.

    - a vehicle that doesn't look out of place in remote areas
    - plenty of storage for bodies
    - GOTOS is handy for an impromptu bludgeoning
    - shovel for digging the shallow grave
    - Rotopax full of gas for burning evidence
