I feel like it's different between friends versus a public message board.

I have a group of friend where there is a long history of "just the tip" jokes that are horrible and gross but those jokes stop as soon as someone we don't know wouldn't be made uncomfortable is around. We are all comfortable with each other but for the sake of inclusion, we respect that its not evens type of humor.

I also feel like this example is pretty benign, and even so, it still had to be clarified as a joke.

IAS's example is also benign and between friends. His friend knew he wasn't going to get upset about it. I highly doubt he would have said that to very many women. And if he did, I was just joking wouldn't be a fair excuse.

The things that were "joked" about Gabby were not things you joke about. And she was missing and likely dead.

I've also had people say some pretty horrible, mean things and when I call them on it they were just joking. And again you ask why? Why is it funny to say something hurtful to someone?

But then they turn it back on the person they said the hurtful thing to, why are you so sensitive? Why can't you take a joke?

I guess I feel like we are comparing apples to oranges here with IASs new examples versus a lot of the stuff that was said in this thread and is said on the TRGs

Is there reported evidence of Laundrie (or anyone else) moving the body? I searched for "Petito body moved across Spread Creek" and got nothing relevant, other than the body was found at a campsite...

If you know the area, its very clear from some of the news videos that came out after the recovery ended. As I said before, I know that area and its campsites well enough to have suspected her body was somewhere between spread creek and shadow mountain. Based upon what Laundrie said and did when he hitched that ride, it's the only area that fit. I, however, assumed she was much further back in the woods off of the forest roads on the north end of shadow mountain.

I sure would like to hang this Laundrie kid by his testicles.

That screen name is still banned last time I checked. If Salvelinusconfluentus a sock puppet it's probably a different email and definitely a different IP address. The overlords can ban whoever they want whenever they want but I don't think there's any actual proof here. Does anyone know either one IRL??
