Caroline Gleich has been discussing this topic on her feed lately. It was prompted by someone commenting on one of her posts that said, more or less, how can you be an athlete and still be fat? So it cuts both ways. Teens viewing these influencers get an unrealistic perception about how their own body should look, and the influencers themselves are measured to a standard that could be impossible to achieve.

Interestingly, there was a Laundre in my class growing up. Hadn’t seen her in 30 years, saw her at work the other day. She seemed to have come out ok.

Everyone with that last name has the leaden burden of that Dirty nickname. Rough draw.

I have two close relatives on tv. One is a newscaster, the other is a sportscaster. One is my cousin, the other is his wife. I give them shit with this song on a fairly regular basis, but not as much as I refer to them as Ron and Veronica. He likes it. She, not so much.

What I really don't get is why is this national news? There is no criminality suspected at this point. She is an adult. People go missing all the time and don't get this kind of press. Poor little white girl ..we should all find her...
