Saw Norm live at the Wheeler, right before the COVID shutdown.
Probably one of his last live appearances.
RIP on people in peace.

I think my favorite thing about him is that he always seemed to be really enjoying himself in his role, like he always had some clever angle and was just owning all these shows and appearances.

Crowder has an entire show dedicated to Norm. Over an hour of his work pretty well done

I went down a Normhole today and had a tearful moment while watching his final performance on late night with David letterman. Seemed like those two had a really good relationship and a lot of mutual respect and appreciation. Letterman had some really touching things to say about him.
Turd Ferguson / Burt Reynolds Norm is always funny every time I see it.

The B-O-R-E-D joke, Turd, the Woodson Heisman/OJ joke, the correspondent dinner, on and on. I was crying from laughing so hard. He had huge balls and was fearless.
Well maybe I'm the faggot America

Totally. The Crocodile Hunter bit 10 days after he died on The DailyShow was exactly that and only Norm could pull that off. I think it was Meyer’s that said it’s too bad Norm isn’t around to tell a joke about Norm being dead because he’s the only one that could pull it off
I miss him more the more of this I watch. His comedy was totally under appreciated

As previously posters have mentioned he excelled at the deadpan thing for sure. Maybe that's why it's so funny and charming to see him lose it laughing with Super Dave;
