    Ski socks without wool

Alright peoples. I need some ski socks for a family member as a present. They can't have any wool in them. No wool. Woolless.

    What do you nutjobs recommend?

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

These are great but not for someone who likes some cushion when they're snow-pushin'.

Couple options from Dissent Labs, love their bike socks but haven’t got much time in their ski socks personally.

I had a pair of those tall compression running socks. Not much of a runner so tried them in ski boots and wore them out skiing with them. Can't remember the brand. Now ski in something similar but wool content. First Lite is the brand but everything thing those guys make is wool.

Maybe look at the tall runners.

Awesome. Exactly what I needed. Thanks. Bought em two pairs. Hope they like em, but found them on amazon so free returns if they don't.

Darn tough thermolite socks don't have any wool. I bought a pair by mistake and they were fine.

I've been running the Dakine Freeride socks for years, for both riding the lift and walking up the hill.
    Been pretty satisfied

I had a pair of silk based ski socks a number of years ago (Thorlos). Back when I was wearing the thick socks and not the much thinner socks that I typically have on my feet with my latest pair of boots that were downsized quite a bit from previous boots. 2 pair I wear now (but not even sure they are still made) are Spyder ski socks that have the silver thread in them (designed supposedly to reduce the stink)....

Do not see them now, but all the Spyder socks on their web site are wool free.
