Mysterious death of a family while embezzeling

Anybody following this? It reads like an Agatha Christie book.

Gonna say the family drama began a couple years before when the son killed a woman.

Marshall Tucker and I have been discussing this over in the View Right Now thread. It's batshit crazy.

    I mean, it's not a 5 y/o thru-hiking the AT crazy, but it's crazy nonetheless.

Wow, this story's got it all: white privilege, drunken boat shenanigans, police coverups, corporate intrigue, executions, substance abuse. Gonna make a great Lifetime Original Movie some day.

I'm wagering dude tried to blow his brains out and missed because he ain't got no brains.. So he shoots his tire and makes up the story there. Wife and son may have been a hit by the cartel he owes all that money to..

The boat death isn't mentioned in a lot of the most recent articles which is weird. Surely that does tie-in. Also agree the dad tried to shoot himself. Inbred nepotism for the loss.

Yeah, I just assumed the killing of wife and son were a reprisal for the drunken boating death.

Been aware of the story since the murders but following it more this week after the botched suicide. Started the Murdaugh Murders Podcast yesterday. Good info if you can deal with her vocal fry. Host also writes for Fitsnews and there are a lot of good articles there. https://www.fitsnews.com/

I think he intentionally “grazed” himself to gain some favor. I’m betting he’s never changed a tire in his life. Why start now?
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Yeah. Some cop down there knows who killed the wife and son and if the father tried to shoot himself. This is small town police politics at its finest.

Either self-inflicted scenario would be pretty obvious to a forensic investigator, right?

No kidding. His great-grandfather started one of the biggest firms in SC a hundred years ago, 1700 acre estate, you can't tell me that guy doesn't have AAA.

Maybe you should try googling "fistolds" instead and see what you come up with. Feel free to not report back.

Yeah, my bad. Once you fuck up a title here there is no way to recover it on teh TRG. It's my greatest fear when starting a thread.

I'm curious to see how 2 murders, attempted suicide and embezzlement got worked into the View Right Now thread. I may have to go over there.

Yep, my wife was trying to say drug dealers sabotaged the tire then hunted him down. I said NOBODY except poor people and regular people in a big hurry change their own tire these days. Richie Rich would have called roadside assistance if he had a flat.

I secured the rights to the screen adaptation. Hold on, got a call from Netflix I gotta take. I think the world is ready for a hetero Southern Gentry version of Tiger King.
