PAC 12 referring is a complete joke. Only reason the nerds got the game to OT was due to horrible calls. Not the first time it’s happened vs the tree. The Ducks also pulled their best Coug impersonation. The level of refs in the PAC 12 is similar to high school football. All that said the Ducks haven’t looked impressive at all this year. A playoff birth would’ve resulted in an embarrassing loss.

Pac12 doesn't hold a monopoly on terrible ref calls by any means..

Bucks on the other hand continue to get better…. The best thing about college football is when you think a team is locked they loose…

No matter how much money Knight puts into the program the Ducks just don’t have the “it” factor…. Def nice uniforms…

I keep saying it - the PAC 12 eats it's own.

Yeah, going in there were a lot of RU fans talking about them pulling off an upset, but i was just hoping they were competitive today, since they are Rutgers after all. Schiano has them going in the right direction, but it'll be a few years before we can play with the big boys.

David Shaw is Mario's daddy. World class recruiter but has many miles to go to considered a high level coach. Anthony Brown proving why he's still a college QB after 6 years.

Very true. He’s getting the Joe’s but lacking on the Xs and Os. That said Sabin wasn’t exactly the best until he got all the best players. Think Day would be lighting it up as a coach in a smallish (population wise) western state with very little in state division 1 talent? And the Ducks would’ve got embarrassed in the playoff.

On another rant I hate the playoff. Because it’s all anyone talks about anymore. I say go back to the pre BCS model then have the top 4 play after New Years. Love me some traditional bowl games. Being as Oregon has very few Rose bowl trophies I’ll always be stoked if we get into the grand daddy.

yeah, put a fork in the Ducks, they're done. This is what I like and hate about college football...it's all or nothing. The only thing the Ducks have to play for now is a PAC12 championship. We'll see if that's enough to keep them motivated. A playoff system would be nice.

I think that's the fun part about CFB, the fact that despite what the schedule looks like, some wild shit happens. I mean, look at the rankings week 1 to the same as of today.

Michigan unranked, now a top 10 team.

    Clemson #3, now unranked.

Cincinnati pulls off a very convincing road win in South Bend and is now a top 5 team.

Kentucky was way unranked, and is now 5-0 with a win over Florida and now is 16th.

Right now it seems Bama, UGA then a slew of B1G, SEC and Big 12 also-rans is how the year will run out. But, as pointed out above, that could go sideways in a week.
I still call it The Jake.

I'm throwing down Iowa over Penn State and Nebraska over Michigan in a shocker. Too biased to call Oklahoma Vs Texas. Latter is playing better right now though.. If I'm wrong about all of this life goes on hahaha..

Tennessee had a decent showing this weekend over Missouri. I think Heuple has settled in on a starting QB.

Maybe we'll crack the top 10, LOL.

I almost feel bad for the teams which end up 3rd and 4th. Alabama and UGA are playing in a different level than everyone else.

I don't want to jinx them, but Beaver Nation looks strong this year. They actually have a defense and a running game

Smith is a good coach and their Def does look ok...they've been putting out a good offensive team the last few years, so just a decent defense might be enough to get them to the rose bowl.

    Talking

Just dropping by to say THE SEC OWNS COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

    period.

    Fuck Iowa.

Bama, georgia, Ky, and MAYBE one other team for them to fuck in the playoffs. SEC had OU like a woman a few years ago and ya know what? OU enjoyed it.

How's that for some trash talk?

I've enjoyed a couple nattys in my lifetime including my senior year. I'm good with beating the big rivals MOST of the time now. I'll take top 10 almost every year with a CLEAN program and be happy.

You know SC isn’t going to be in the SEC in 5-10 years right? Only way they are is if THE B1G and PAC prevent ESPN from locking in a 12 team playoff with out an open bid for rights. The future super league doesn’t include the likes of S Carolina, Miss St, etc. Alabama, UGA, FL, LSU, AU, TX, and OK don’t really want to keep splitting revenue with you. S Carolina might be lucky enough to end up the remains of the American, but I doubt they even make the second tier of CFB once Disney gets their 20-30 team super league. BYU is a more attractive brand than S. Carolina.

How’s that for some trash talk?

I fucking love watching dumb looser program fans shout ‘SEC! SEC! SEC!’ bro, you’re just there to be a punching bag, and they are gonna figure out a way to keep punching you without the revenue split.
