Lincoln Riley snuck out of the Oklahoma to SEC scenario like a thief in theif night for an easier conference where he thought he could win easier. Guess That's not working out as expected!

The real irony is after all the realignment happens the conferences standing will most likely end up creating geographically close "divisions" when all the non revenue sports start flunking out kids that help maintain some sense of the "student athlete" mirage. Those divisions most likely will look like the current conferences. They just need to create one super league for football and basketball for top tier programs with some sort of relegation and promotion and leave all the other non revenue sports aline or just let them die off.
This whole amateur sports, student athlete is all bull shit anyway.

I'd like for the NBA to adopt a similar stance as the NFL with regard to requiring kids to be 20 years old or complete their sophomore year at college before they can play with the pros. Every year now "Senior Day" at Duke's Cameron Arena is a total joke.. They're lucky if they have even one senior left who hasn't already gone to the NBA. Half their team is freshmen and gone before the next season..

NIL is starting to change that a bit. Kids that are not slated to be drafted in the first round and can make a decent payday are heading back to school. NCAA also changed rules allowing kids to pull out of the draft late in the game so it's not all bad.
