Tell me about your expandable hose

Looking for recommendations on expandable garden hoses that you’re stoked on. My expanding hose just broke after a year.

CS is right, they all suck.

This is the only hose I buy, everything else I’ve found is garbage by comparison.

I finally ended up with a couple of these after too many failures with cheaper shit.

100% recommend.

(That's assuming it doesn't get left in the driveway and the nozzle run over by the wife, but that's a discussion for another thread, ugh..)

You could buy a guarantied hose for mo money and just take it back when it fails or you can just fix them almost forever

I got me one of them guarantied hoses , cuz I was fixing a cash register at Canadian tire when someone warrantied the hose so the floor manger said " hey do want this hose just fix it " that was a free hose 30 yrs ago

I went through several of those in the past 5 years or so. I'm back to a traditional hose and reel now. I didn't totally mind the price of replacing one every year or two, but I hate the idea of buying disposable junk that is destined for the landfill.

Def have had better luck - the 100 ft we have now is on its third year and the 75ft is on its second year…. I cannot go back to the old heavy kinked hose and only use that thing for the power washer…

Yeah. That was my point. Great idea. Out of the box they are awesome. But they fail.
I loved it for my deck hose. But I’m done with them.
Got a lightweight hose now. It coils up in a faux planter. So much better than the expandable penis.

same hose at my place...workhorse for sure...sturdy, doesnt kink too bad.. I do have a few of those expandable ones, but they are mostly shit...
