While I don't know what your diagnosis is, old man Noonan had his heart roto-rootered and a few parts replaced while they were in there, and holy shit he came out like a whole new dude. Energy like he hadn't had in 20yrs. May you have the same experience, and here's to new beginnings, eh?

Harry, when they fix you up and you decide to remain in Montana you can have the spare room at Casa Bunion for as long as you want.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

With your calm good natured demeanor and years of life lessons this is a walk in the park for you Harry. Although your apprehension is not unfounded, you'll be listening to just the hum of white noise and finally just the air moving through the OR (jeez, could someone invest in some incense)
What you will percieve as just a few minutes later, you'll be coming to in recovery wanting to know what the mechanics found and were they able to put you back together better than the warn oem parts you started out with
And to the Maggs (tal/wg) doing the true trgz thing and more within arms reach who will make a difference...
this really is a special community
Take in a very large helping of healing vibes M... to a more than deserving whomin there is not

Best of success Harry.
It’s one thing to have a wee surgery, but the chest cracking heart stuff is scary. Right up there with brain surgery.
But they got this. And so do you.
Be strong. Heal up fast. You’ve got many more tales to tell of the gnar of Minnesota. . .

Harry’s Heart Surgery Thread
This sounds really similar to a friend of mine that ended up with cardiac surgery on short notice a few years ago. 6 months later he felt like a new man. I hope it works out the same for you, Harry. Good luck and heal quick!

What everyone else has already said = Afterwards, Stay Positive and Stay Away from sick people!
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.
