What happened when you got decked bumping chairs? Lifties get guests loaded, off and high, so they should never take a fist!

We had a fight at one of our parties (Pro Tip: 1.) Never be the house that hosts parties and 2.) Never let a crew of "hometown bros" come in ) that escalated to a full out brawl in the street. Traffic stopped, cops were called, it was a fucking mess (Upstate NY for the win). I moved out later that week.

I feel like any of those were right answers.

And isn't the proper nomenclature, "Townies"?

Semester should be starting tomorrow for you SYF. Assure all of your virtual dads that you are indeed still enrolled and not on double secret probation.

No double secret probation here. Ended up switching my major from snow science to english-lit. Quite the jump, in know. Being a humanities guy through and through, I really can't understand why I ever let myself choose snow science in the first place. Course load this semester will be some heavier as I need to make up some ground with the core requirements for english lit. Still have 2 free weekdays to spend at Bridger but scheduling and time management are gonna have to be a priority.

Met a pretty cool (and out of my league) ripper chick and am trying to make something happen there. Got 3 days in with her last week. Hoping to add a few more this week. Really hoping I don't fuck this up.

Now I'm just praying for some more fucking snow.

Wrong attitude. Don’t let her smell fear or you’re going to be the guy waxing her skis while she’s waxing some other guy’s pole. You got this.

Serious question: what does one do with an English Lit degree?

Anything having to do with writing, editing or communications. If you're good at it and understand proper mechanics, there is a need. Though I would combine it with a lot of tech courses (InDesign, web development, etc.), because that really increases your value these days.

Plenty to do with literature. Just take it seriously and kick ass - the most important lesson is always about expanding your brain to learn what trying hard really means.

Ultimately if your actually intelligent and driven it will work out in the end. Maybe starting out might be a bit more difficult compared to a stem degree but SYF seems like a smart kid that has drive. It's not like snow science was going to lead to fame and fortune out of the gate. At least with English lit the kid's studying what he enjoys, clearly he writes pretty well.
